Sankyu Kensetsu Co., Ltd. undertook the renovation of the historic Fujinoya Ryokan, located in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Yamanashi Prefecture.
This project aims to preserve the beauty of traditional Japanese architecture while integrating modern comfort and functionality.
Since its launch, the renovation has breathed new life into the region at the foot of Mt. Fuji, made possible through close collaboration with the local community.
VISION
The renovation project for Fujinoya Ryokan was planned as part of a regional revitalization initiative in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Yamanashi Prefecture.
This project aims to create an accommodation facility that blends history with modernity, located near Mt. Fuji—Japan’s iconic natural heritage.
