Member Introduction
Integrating Furniture, Space, and Architecture
Tian Shi is originally from Xingtai City, Hebei Province, China.
He graduated from the School of Design at Anhui Polytechnic University, majoring in Environmental Design. Upon graduation, he was selected for the “Outstanding Graduation Design of Anhui Province”, and his graduation project was archived by the university, where it continues to be used as an educational case study.
After graduation, he gained experience working on a wide range of interdisciplinary projects, including furniture design, installation design, and architectural design.
Driven by a strong interest in Japanese architecture, he decided to come to Japan.
He passed the entrance examinations for the Graduate School of Architecture at Musashino Art University and the Graduate School of Architecture & Environmental Design at Kyoto University of the Arts. Ultimately, he chose a path that allows him to balance professional practice with continued learning, joining the Design Department of Sankyu Kensetsu Co., Ltd.
Since joining the company, he has participated in the high-end client–oriented project “Yamaki Jinko Immersive Experience Center,” contributing to its realization in central Jinan, as well as planning flagship stores in Ningbo Hankyu Center and Shanghai, and expansion plans for Japan (Ginza and Kyoto).
He is also involved in the design of hotels and guesthouse architecture, further deepening his expertise through hands-on experience.
Leveraging his knowledge across multiple design fields, he continues to pursue architectural design that delivers new experiences to users.
